Areas of Practice

Stated as permitted under Rule 36 of the Bar Council of India Rules. Each description below is general legal information — not legal advice, and not an offer of services.

01

Cyber Law

Cyber law covers legal questions arising from the internet and digital systems — data protection, privacy, unauthorised access and offences under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Matters commonly involve preservation of electronic evidence, complaints before cyber cells, and proceedings where digital records are central.

Relevant law: Information Technology Act, 2000 · Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita provisions on digital offences

02

Cyber Fraud

Online financial fraud includes phishing, UPI and card fraud, investment scams and identity theft. Time matters: reporting quickly to the 1930 national cyber helpline and the cybercrime.gov.in portal can help freeze fraudulent transfers. Legal proceedings may follow for recovery and prosecution.

First steps: 1930 helpline · cybercrime.gov.in · preserve screenshots and transaction records

03

Cyber Defamation

When false statements are published online and harm a person's reputation, remedies exist in both civil law (damages, injunctions) and criminal law. Action can include takedown notices to platforms, complaints, and suits for damages.

Relevant law: defamation provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita · IT Act intermediary rules

04

Real Estate Law

Property matters include title verification before purchase, sale deed drafting and registration, encumbrance checks, RERA complaints against builders, partition and possession disputes. In Telangana, verification through Bhu Bharati (the land records system that replaced Dharani in April 2025) and registration records is a key first step.

Common documents: sale deed · link documents · EC · pattadar passbook (Bhu Bharati) · RERA registration

05

Civil Law

Civil disputes cover contracts, money recovery, property rights, injunctions and declarations. Most civil matters begin with a legal notice and may resolve through negotiation; where needed, suits are filed before the appropriate civil court.

Forums: City Civil Courts, Hyderabad · District Courts · High Court of Telangana

06

Family Law

Family matters include divorce and judicial separation, maintenance, child custody and guardianship, and adoption. These matters are handled with discretion, and courts encourage mediation where reconciliation is possible.

Forums: Family Courts, Hyderabad · mediation centres

07

Business Law

Business support covers entity formation, shareholder and partnership agreements, commercial contracts, employment documentation and regulatory compliance. Well-drafted agreements prevent most disputes.

Common work: contracts · MOUs · compliance reviews · notices and dispute response

08

Consumer Rights

The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 protects buyers of goods and services against defects, deficiency and unfair trade practices. Complaints are filed before District, State or National Commissions depending on claim value.

Forums: District Consumer Commission · State Commission · NCDRC
